Check where you have saved the account number

After the switch, the new bank account numbers will be used in all correspondence. This includes payment details for tax assessments, bills and letters regarding the repayment of benefits. Please ensure you always use the correct bank account number.

As of the 1st of May 2026, this will be the correct bank account number:

NL04 RABO 0200 1122 44.

Make sure you check where the bank account numbers are stored, such as in your online banking address book, accounting software or other records.

What does this mean for the new payment method?

  • Do you pay with iDEAL | Wero? Then you will automatically pay to the new bank account number.
  • Do you pay by direct debit? Then you do not need to do anything. They will automatically update the direct debit to the new bank account number.
  • Do you pay by online banking or with a paper transfer form? Use the bank account number shown in the payment information you receive with your tax assessment or bill. And please also update your address book.

Beware of phishing!

The Tax Administration will never ask for payment details through email, text message, WhatsApp or telephone.

If you receive a message or phone call asking for this information, be aware. Always check whether the account number used appears on the Tax Administration official list of account numbers and, if in doubt, follow the anti-phishing step-by-step guide on their website.
