BonsenReuling and SMA Accountants NV
BonsenReuling participates in SMA Accountants NV when performing statutory audits of Public Interest Entities (OOBs in Dutch).
Twenty SME accountancy firms collaborate in SMA Accountants NV. SMA Accountants NV is a national organisation that focuses on large companies, financial institutions, government agencies and non?profit organisations in the top segment of the market. SMA’s objective is to jointly accept large accountancy and consultancy engagements which, because of their size or complexity, would be impossible for an individual firm to take on.
SMA was granted a WTA licence including public interest entities on 30 September 2008 as recorded in the public database of the AFM. BonsenReuling is a member of SMA and through it is permitted to audit OOBs. As a solid medium-sized accountancy firm, BonsenReuling is an attractive alternative to the larger firms.
